Sad it's over
It was hard going back to work yesterday.
Thanks to all the Campers who joined us. We had a great time. We definitely couldn't complain about the weather!
Here are some pictures from Beth, Peggy and myself. If you have any pictures to share, please email them to me.
Thank you to Beth Casey and Fiona Ellis for their amazing workshops.

There will be a lot more coming. Make sure you have extra room in your car to bring everything home.

Dropped Stitches
It's just over 16 weeks until Camp. It sounds like a long time but September will be here before we know it.
Dropped stitches are a knitters nightmare but Fiona is doing this on purpose. Her class on Saturday afternoon is centred around dropping stitches.
Fiona’s latest technique fascination is with creating openwork by means of dropped stitches. In this workshop you will learn how to add them to your projects, how to have them meander and work around shaping and then go on to look at adding hand embroidery to the panels. If you've registered for Camp, watch your inbox. Class confirmations are going out this week.

Colour Duet
The brochure is almost finished. I'm hoping to have it proofread and ready to go on the weekend. We are very excited about the class being offered on Friday.
Colour Duet
Camp is all about yarn and having fun! So this year we’ve worked with our instructors to come up with something extra special.
What’s better than learning from one instructor?...how about learning from TWO?
Beginning on Friday morning after breakfast and continuing after lunch, this amazing class will harmonize instruction from both Fiona and Beth.
It will open with Fiona & Beth talking about to choosing your colours, then you will go on to dye 5 mini skeins of Shepherd Sock from Lorna’s Laces.
While one group is laying it down with Beth, Fiona will lead a jamming session looking at working with your mini skeins to use in a small project such as mittens, hat, socks or a cowl; maybe some Fair Isle? some embellishments? some cables? and of course transitions.
In the dying session, maestro Beth will be guiding you to dye your mini skeins into colours that will work for your project.
The finale of the class will be a review of what has been learned with an encore from both instructors.
